Sap normalden biraz daha geni\u015f ama ayn\u0131 zamanda ince b\u0131rak\u0131lm\u0131\u015f. Sedat saz\u0131 art\u0131k d\u00f6rt telli de\u011fil de \u00fc\u00e7 telli olarak kullanmak istedi\u011fi i\u00e7in bu incelik onu rahats\u0131z ediyordu.<\/p>\n

Sap\u0131 kal\u0131nla\u015ft\u0131rmak i\u00e7in elimdeki tahtalardan bir par\u00e7a se\u00e7tim. \u0130\u00e7ini freze ile kabaca oydum. Daha sonra sapa 80 kum z\u0131mparay\u0131 \u00e7ift tarafl\u0131 bant ile yap\u0131\u015ft\u0131rd\u0131m ve bu z\u0131mpara \u00fcst\u00fcnde par\u00e7ay\u0131 al\u0131\u015ft\u0131r\u0131p yap\u0131\u015ft\u0131rd\u0131m. Daha rahat \u00e7al\u0131n\u0131r hale geldi. Ayr\u0131ca burgulu\u011fa da arma ekledik.<\/p>\n

Last april, a friend of mine brought his saz to me. It was built to be 4 string saz. There are some experiments on making four string sazs but i think not quite successful yet. This was one of them and mine friend took out the 4th string and he was playing it as 3 string. But the neck was wide and thin. So it wasn’t confortable to play. He asked me if i can make it thicker.<\/p>\n

I found a scrap piece of matching mahogany. I routed out the bulk with my palm router. Then i stick an 80 grit sandpaper to the neck with double sided tape. And sanded the scrap for a perfect fit. Then glued it up. the old neck was around 2.2 cm. It’s around 2.6 after the fix. Much more confortable to play.<\/p>\n
